AMVJ (General Society for Youth) is a Dutch amateur football club from Amstelveen, founded in 1922. The club plays its home matches at Sportpark Het Loopveld, where the current clubhouse was officially opened on January 5, 2008 by honorary member Johannes Bevaart. AMVJ’s first team competes in the Tweede Klasse (Second Division) during the 2020/21 season.
At AMVJ Football, enjoyment and sporting achievement are central. For nearly a century, young and old alike have enjoyed playing in the distinctive Burgundy red shirt. The club is part of the larger AMVJ family, which consists of eight sports clubs, and boasts beautiful grass fields located on the border between Amsterdam and Amstelveen.
