BFC, short for Bussumse Football Club B.F.C., is a historic amateur football club based in Bussum with a proud heritage dating back to 1920. Originally founded as ‘Door Vrienden Verenigd’ (DVV), we quickly became known as BFC. In the early days, our players honed their skills on the sandy, dusty pitches of the local heath, proving even then that the club had immense potential. We moved to our current home ground at the Meerweg sports complex in 1963, and our iconic blue-white-red kit has been worn with pride since 1950. Celebrating our centenary in 2020 was a milestone, further marked in 2021 when the club was awarded the Royal Medal of Honour for its contribution to the local community. BFC combines a traditional atmosphere with top-tier facilities, making it a fantastic place for youth development and competitive football.
