FC Uitgeest is a football club based in Uitgeest, located at the De Koog sports complex. The club was founded on July 1, 1996, following a merger between neighboring clubs U.S.V.U. and v.v. Uitgeest. With a modern facility featuring eighteen changing rooms, five pitches (two artificial turf and three natural grass), and a covered training hall, FC Uitgeest offers excellent accommodations for both players and spectators.
Before the merger, v.v. Uitgeest already had a rich history, having been founded in 1919 and competing at various levels. U.S.V.U., founded in 1931, mainly played in the fourth division. The merger became necessary for financial reasons, and after a year of discussions, members of both clubs approved it. Since then, FC Uitgeest has developed an interesting and evolving history.
