RKVV Meerburg

RKVV Meerburg is a well-established grassroots football club based in Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk, near Leiden. Founded in 1928, the club has a long tradition in Dutch amateur football and continues to play a vital role in the regional sports community. Today, RKVV Meerburg has grown into a large and ambitious club with around 1,200 members and more than 70 teams across all age groups. The club is known for its strong community spirit, where players, volunteers, and supporters work together to create a welcoming and active environment. Youth development is a key focus at Meerburg. The club provides structured training programmes and opportunities for young players to develop both on and off the pitch, with an emphasis on enjoyment, teamwork, and fair play.
