SV Hillegom

SV Hillegom is a versatile sports club located in the town and municipality of Hillegom, in South Holland, the Netherlands. The club was founded on July 1, 2012, following the successful merger between SV Concordia and VV Hillegom. SV Hillegom offers various sports, including handball and football, both on the field and indoors.

The merger of SV Concordia and VV Hillegom was the result of earlier efforts dating back to the 1990s to unite the three clubs in Hillegom (Concordia, VV Hillegom, and VV SIZO) into one strong association. Eventually, Concordia and Hillegom reached an agreement and started the 2012/2013 season as SV Hillegom. The merger allowed the new club to continue playing at both Concordia’s and VV Hillegom’s original locations.

Sportpark De Zanderij is the home base of SV Hillegom, where the club plays its home matches. This extensive sports park features eight football fields, including three artificial turf pitches, and a handball court, offering members and supporters excellent facilities to play and enjoy sports.
