VV Monnickendam is a historic football club based in the picturesque town of Monnickendam. Founded on 18 September 1930, the club has a long-standing tradition in Dutch amateur football and is the only field football club in the town. The club plays its home matches at Sportpark Markgouw, a well-equipped sports complex with multiple pitches hosting training sessions, matches, and football events. With more than 25 teams across youth and senior levels, VV Monnickendam offers football for players of all ages and abilities. Youth development is a key pillar of the club. We provide structured coaching programmes and compete in regional leagues, creating an environment where young players can develop both their technical skills and social confidence. Our club is known for its strong community spirit, where enjoyment, respect, and teamwork are central values. We regularly host youth football tournaments, including the well-known Ynze Waterlander Tournament.
