
WVV ’67 is a football club with a rich tradition based in Woensdrecht, officially founded in 1967 and rooted in a strong community football spirit that emerged in the early 20th century. Originating from street football, tournaments among dock workers and a pure passion for the game, WVV ’67 gradually developed into a sustainable, close-knit club with a strong local identity. With milestones such as joining the KNVB, a big win in its first official league match, the first championship in the 1996/1997 season, expansion of its facilities at Fortuinstraat and the 50th anniversary in 2017, WVV ’67 is known for teamwork, unity and a clear focus on youth and women’s football alongside the men’s teams. Today, WVV ’67 is a dynamic amateur and youth-development club in the Netherlands, attracting hundreds of members and playing an important role in the sporting and community life of Woensdrecht.
