SC Bolsward is an amateur football club based in Bolsward, a beautiful town in the province of Friesland, Netherlands. The club is located at sports park “Het Bolwerk,” where exciting home matches take place on the pitch and supporters gather to cheer on their team in the local kit.

The history of SC Bolsward began on 1 July 2013, when the club was formed through the merger of two local football clubs. On one side was Bolswardia, a Protestant Saturday club, and on the other side was CAB, a social-democratic Sunday club. The merger of these two clubs created a strong and diverse community united by a shared passion for football.

In the summer of 2015, the club gained even more strength when the Roman Catholic Sunday club RES also joined the merged club. This further expansion strengthened the identity and unity of SC Bolsward, bringing together players and supporters from different backgrounds under one banner.
