Er wordt inmiddels alweer uitgekeken en afgeteld naar dé traditionele afsluiting van het 7 VS 7 -voetbalseizoen: het regionale 35+ toernooi op VV Heerjansdam.

Deze keer draagt het toernooi met gepaste trots de naam van Cees de Valk; een waar clubicoon, die de club eerder dit seizoen na vele jaren inzet en trouw helaas is ontvallen. Cees stond ook buiten de voetbalvereniging bekend als een actief en ondernemend persoon, die zich altijd inzette voor de jeugd van Heerjansdam in het bijzonder.

Het is de organisatie en vereniging een eer om op deze manier, op deze middag nog een keer stil te staan bij de herinnering aan dit zeer gewaardeerde lid van verdienste en Erelid van de vereniging.

Aan het toernooi doen zo’n 12 teams mee uit de gehele regio. Rond 14.00 uur zal middels een woord van herdenking van één van de leden van bestuur het toernooi een gepaste opening krijgen. Iedereen die Cees en zijn familie een warm hart toedroeg, wordt bij deze van harte uitgenodigd hier getuige van te zijn.

De finales van het toernooi staan onder leiding van oud profvoetballer André Stafleu en de derde helft zal muzikaal ingekleurd worden door DJ Brum. Entree is zoals altijd gratis.
