Na een succesvol toernooi in 2023 wordt er ook in 2024 weer een toernooi gehouden voor de futsalteams: de Pre-season Cup.

De Pre-season Cup start op maandagavond 26 augustus en zal op spectaculaire wijze eindigen op vrijdagavond 30 augustus. Op deze vrijdagavond zullen er een aantal leuke verrassingen geregeld zijn en wordt bekend welk team er vandoor gaat met de €250,- aan prijzengeld.

Dit jaar is het toernooi niet alleen voor de teams van IJsselmeervogels, maar is er plaats voor liefst 32 futsalteams uit de regio. Deze teams worden verdeeld over acht poules van vier en spelen wedstrijden van 15 minuten tegen elkaar. Per avond komen er twee poules in actie en spelen meteen alle poulewedstrijden die avond. Als een team eerste of tweede wordt in de poule, dan mag het vrijdagavond, tijdens de zogenaamde finaleavond, weer in actie komen. Deze avond wordt er gespeeld volgens een knock-outsysteem.

Tijdens de finaleavond zal er een dj draaien om de sfeer nog beter te maken dan die waarschijnlijk al is. Als klap op de vuurpijl komt er ook een zanger optreden om de avond compleet te maken.

Voor wie is de Pre-season Cup?

De Pre-season Cup is voor futsalteams. Zij moeten uitkomen in de B-categorie van de KNVB (2e t/m 5e klasse).
