VV Oosthuizen warmly welcomes coaches and team managers to its beautiful sports complex for the 20th edition of the Henk Weenink Youth Tournament. This annual youth football tournament in Oosthuizen is a well-known regional event, recognised for its excellent organisation, sporting atmosphere and strong focus on respect and Fair Play.

Thanks to the dedication of many volunteers, this edition is once again perfectly prepared. From inviting and grouping teams to arranging referees, prizes, pitch layouts and catering, everything is organised to provide players, staff and supporters with a memorable and enjoyable football day.

The tournament is named after Henk Weenink, who contributed greatly to youth football at VV Oosthuizen as a coach, team manager and board member. This youth tournament keeps his legacy alive.

🤝 Fair Play Cup – Sportsmanship rewarded

Sportsmanship was a core value for Henk Weenink and remains at the heart of this youth football tournament. After each match, referees award Fair Play points to the teams.

Teams are rated on a scale from 1 to 5, based on behaviour on and off the pitch. Players, coaches, team staff, parents and supporters all influence this score. The Fair Play Cup is an important prize that highlights respect, enjoyment and fair competition.

📅 Match schedule & tournament format

• JO8 to JO10: matches from approximately 09:00

• JO11 to JO15: matches from approximately 12:00

Match duration:

• Saturday morning: 18 minutes

• Saturday afternoon: 25 minutes

All matches are played according to KNVB regulations. Substitutions are unlimited and the referee’s decisions are final.
