Het Koos Hoogenboom Toernooi is een jaarlijks terugkerend voetbaltoernooi voor jeugdteams van O10 t/m O17. Het toernooi wordt georganiseerd door WDS’19 uit Breda en vindt plaats op het sportpark van de club aan de Fazantstraat 12 in Breda.

Het is een populair toernooi waaraan jaarlijks zo’n 100 teams deelnemen.Het toernooi is vernoemd naar Koos Hoogenboom, een oud-voorzitter van WDS’19 die veel betekend heeft voor de jeugdopleiding van de club. Hoogenboom overleed in 2014 op 82-jarige leeftijd.

Het Koos Hoogenboom Toernooi wordt gespeeld in verschillende poules, afhankelijk van de leeftijd en het niveau van de teams. Er zijn poules voor O10, O11, O13, O15 en O17 teams. De poules worden ingedeeld op basis van de sterkte van de teams, zodat er spannende en gelijkwaardige wedstrijden ontstaan.De wedstrijden worden gespeeld op velden met kunstgras. Er zijn kleedkamers en douches aanwezig voor de teams. Voor de toeschouwers is er een gezellige kantine waar ze terecht kunnen voor een hapje en een drankje.

Het Koos Hoogenboom Toernooi is een mooi opstarttoernooi voor jeugdteams om zich te meten met andere teams en om nieuwe tegenstanders te ontmoeten. Het is ook een gezellig toernooi waar spelers, trainers en ouders samen kunnen genieten van het voetbal.
