FC Harlingen, also known as Fusie Club Harlingen, is an amateur football club based in Harlingen, Friesland, the Netherlands. The club was established on July 1, 2014, as a result of a merger between VV Harlingen and RKVV Robur Harlingen. Home matches are played at Sportpark Vierkantsdijk.
Initially, discussions were held between the three Harlingen football clubs—VV Harlingen, Robur, and ZMVV Zeerobben—about a general merger into one new club. Unfortunately, this was not feasible, as the boards and members could not reach consensus. The main points of contention were the future location of the new club and the matchday for the first team. After the talks between the three clubs collapsed, VV Harlingen and Robur revisited the idea a year later. This time, a successful member vote from both clubs led to the foundation of FC Harlingen, with the merger officially taking effect on July 1, 2014.
