HZVV

HZVV (Hoogeveense Zaterdag Voetbal Vereniging) is a leading amateur football club with a rich history, based in Hoogeveen, Drenthe, the Netherlands. The club was officially founded on May 20, 1940, although research has shown its origins date back to December 5, 1929. What began with just seventeen members has grown into a thriving community of over 1,500 members.

Since 1953, HZVV has been located at Sportpark Bentinckspark, on Bentincksdijk. Over the years, the complex has undergone various developments, including a complete renovation of the main entrance in 2000 and a move to a new facility within the same sports park in 2012.
