Welcome to V.V. De Meern (Voetbalvereniging De Meern), a proud amateur football club located in the beautiful town of De Meern, in the municipality of Utrecht, Netherlands. Since its founding on June 18, 1947, V.V. De Meern has a rich history and has become an important part of the local football community.

The club was established in the legendary café “Wapen van Gouda,” also known as café Huigen. On that day, the decision was made to found the “Voetbal Vereniging De Meern.” Since then, the club has maintained a strong connection with the community and has experienced many highlights and successes.

On May 10, 2013, V.V. De Meern received the prestigious Rinus Michels Award for the best amateur youth academy in the Netherlands. This reflects the club’s dedication to developing young players and its focus on creating an environment where talent can grow and thrive.

V.V. De Meern plays its home matches at the modern Sportpark De Meern, which opened in September 2005. The sports park features five artificial turf fields, one natural grass field, and a mini-court, providing players with the best possible facilities to showcase their talents.
