
VV Diepenveen, a club with a rich history
VV Diepenveen is a football club from Diepenveen, a town in the province of Overijssel. Founded in 1935, the club has grown to become one of the largest football clubs in the region.
The club has a rich history. In the 1970s and 1980s, VV Diepenveen played several seasons in the Tweede Divisie, which was then the third tier of Dutch football. In 2009, the club was promoted to the Derde Divisie, where it has been playing ever since.
VV Diepenveen has a wide range of teams. Besides the first team, the club has eleven senior teams, many youth teams, and a women’s team. The club also has a successful veterans’ section.
The club plays its home matches at Sportpark De Zunnebargh, located on the outskirts of Diepenveen. The sports park features two football fields, a training field, and a clubhouse.
