Katwijk Football Club was founded on a cold winter day, February 17, 1939, in the picturesque town of Katwijk, South Holland, the Netherlands. Over the years, this amateur club has built an impressive track record. From 1989 to 2014, Katwijk consistently played at the highest level of Saturday amateur football, winning seven league championships, four Saturday titles, and four overall amateur championships. Recent titles in the 2022/23, 2021/22, and 2017/18 seasons in the Tweede Divisie (Second Division) reflect the club’s ongoing ambition and sporting excellence.

Sportcomplex De Krom has been the proud home ground of VV Katwijk since 1985. Located in the northeast of Katwijk-Noord, it features six pitches, four of which are equipped with floodlights and artificial turf. The main pitch, also with artificial turf and two covered stands, serves as the stage where history continues to be made.
